Our mission
The Abundance movement argues that many of society's biggest problems — the housing shortage, the slow pace of the clean energy transition, crumbling infrastructure — are not just political fights, but building problems. We believe progress requires building more, faster, and that removing unnecessary barriers to building is itself a form of progress.
Problems to Solve
Housing
New York City currently has one of the world's scarcest housing markets. There simply are not enough homes to satisfy the immense demand for housing, causing prices to soar. The city is currently building at nowhere near the rate required to finish the 700,000 new residences required to stabilize the market.
Energy
Our modern lives would be impossible without energy. We have seen how volatile the energy supply can be, with geopolitical shocks and an aging power grid causing prices to spike. Preserving the planet for future generations will require the rapid deployment of clean energy, which has surged in capability. The technology is here; now it's time to build.
Infrastructure
The United States gets little bang for its buck when it comes to infrastructure. Fellow nations abroad build quickly and on a massive scale while Americans wait for projects to simply break ground. An abundant America is a place with a plethora of transportation options and utilities spread wide to every citizen, expanding where we can live, work, and forge communities.
